My goal as an artist is to create works of art that resonate with honesty that reflect the beauty and chaos of this world. The study and reverence for history is a large influence in my artwork. I use a critical assimilation of the art of past centuries merging it with my personal visual language. Collective conscience combines with imagery that is deeply referential of my own personal experience and emotions. The artwork becomes a relic made from real materials, methods and symbols, offering an explanation of reality.
The Laughing Game
"The leader tosses up a bunch of keys or other object, and makes the requirement that while the object is in the air, each one must laugh as loud and as genuinely as circumstances will permit; but as soon as the object falls to the floor there must be complete silence. By varying the height of the throw the “laugh” may be long or short, and the sudden stop gives a peculiar effect. It may be noted that there are usually some who become quite unable to curtail their laughter at the given time."
