Storm Tharp was raised in Ontario, Oregon. He attended Cornell University and graduated from the College of Architecture, Art and Urban Planning in 1992. He is a painter and sculptor whose work has been acquired by various public collections including The Whitney Museum of American Art, The Albright Knox Gallery and The Cleveland Museum of Art. In 2010 Tharp participated in The Whitney Biennial, and in 2013 a mid-career survey of his work was presented at The Johnson Museum of Art, Cornell University. He is represented by PDX Contemporary Art, Portland, and Galerie Sébastian Bertrand, Geneva, Switzerland. Tharp lives and works in Portland, Oregon.

Jon Raymond is the author of the novels Freebird (forthcoming), Rain Dragon and The Half-Life, as well as the short-story collection Livability, winner of the Oregon Book Award. He is also the screenwriter of the film Meek’s Cutoff and co-writer of the films Old Joy and Wendy and Lucy, both based on his short fiction, and the film Night Moves. His writing has appeared in Tin House, the Village Voice, Bookforum, Artforum, and other publications. Raymond lives in Portland, Oregon.
